Response to "2010 Toyota Prius"
I didn't find anything helpful just that it is a different fuel efficient car, and it is one of the biggest seller fuel efficient car in the world. It adds to what I learned because it is a different efficient car. It doesn't really change my thinking but its make me wonder if the hybrid will stay the top sellers, or will the new hydrogen fuel cell car get up in the charts. It deepens my knowledge by the understanding of a hybrid cars. I would ask the same question as before which is how does a hybrid car really work.

The 2010 toyota prius is still a four door hatchback, and sits five people, but now a 1.8-liter gasoline engine that produces 98 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque that's used in conjunction with two electric motors and a special planetary gearset that functions as a continuously variable transmission. Total power is 134 hp. the car has 50 mpg. It is ranked 4 of 24 affordable midsize cars. the electric and gas engines are more powerful, and the battery is smaller but till powers the car longer.
